Hey, we're Joe & Jess 👋

Honestly? This started because we just really like caramel apples. Not the rock-hard toffee kind that takes a run-up to bite into — soft, chewy, properly made caramel, the kind we couldn't really find anywhere when we went looking for it ourselves.

So we started making our own. Tart Granny Smiths (never the sweet ones — they just get lost under the caramel), hand-rolled in small batches, cut into wedges instead of bitten whole because honestly, that's just the better way to eat one. We never set out to make something fancy. We set out to make something we'd actually want to eat — and then kept going because, turns out, a lot of other people felt the same way.

A quick thing worth clearing up: these aren't toffee apples. No hard shell, no broken fillings, no kids'-party-leftover vibes. We get why people assume that at first glance — we'd probably assume the same thing if we hadn't made these ourselves.

We're still pretty new here in New Zealand, figuring it out market by market, flavour by flavour. But we've had people order the same flavour over and over, which honestly still makes our day every single time.
